One of the most successful European teams of recent years is a well-known guest in Ehingen. The Hungarian championship record holder MKB Veszprém KC will be attending for the 11th time to play the SCHLECKER CUP. Few times they have almost, but just almost, managed to take the trophy home - maybe this year the new head coach Lajos Mocsai will make the difference.
Dejan Peric has been elected best goalkeeper more often than anybody else in the SCHLECKER CUP history. The opening match of the SCHLECKER CUP 2007 between MKB Veszprém KC and THW Kiel is their chance to take revenge for the elimination at the EHF Champions League quarter final last season.
